Somebody designed this. Somebody approved this. Somebody put this in the teaser for the film.

Sombody looked at this design and said it was good enough for a teaser.

Even if I didn't like Sonic, I would still think this was a horrible design. From artistic point of view, why the fuck would you give an animal like creature a realistic human body, big feet, and a gigantic head that is clearly not realistic?

You want to make Sonic more realistic to fit into our world. He looks like a fucking science experiment gone horribly wrong. He looks like if they Ken Penders to design him then redesigned him because he wasn't realistic enough.

If Sonic actually does have a realistic hedgehog face, then I can't see this movie doing well. It could be a masterpiece, thematicly, but that design could turn a lot of people off. It wouldn't matter, he looks worse than anything fan made and that includes porn.

How could anyone think this looks good? Are any of them actually character designers?
